    *What you'll do: *

    * Manages daily staffing for assigned clinic operations.

    * Ensures nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety.

    * Ensures the safe transition of patients through the continuum of care to include active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.

    * Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, shares leadership responsibilities for the nursing staff (LVNs and MAs), including managing daily staffing plans.

    * Responsible for managing and maintaining schedules for optimal efficiency.

    * Works in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care.

    * Management and development of clinical staff.

    * Contributes to operations management of assigned business unit(s).

    * Participates in budget planning and management.

    * Takes proactive initiative in quality management.

    *Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:*

    * At least two of years applicable clinical experience.

    * Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.

    * Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.

    *Required Certification/Registration:*

    * Maintains current California LVN license.

    * Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical setting.

    *Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:*

    * Graduate of an accredited LVN program.

    * Leadership experience.

    * Experience addressing performance concerns with employees.

    * Experience scheduling staff/managing staff schedules.
