    *As a Care Team Assistant, you will work under the direction of an RN and Surgical Technologist to assist with the care of perioperative patients and OR room preparation activities such as; *

    * Assisting with OR bed set ups.

    * Assisting with equipment and supplies.

    * Housekeeping duties to turn over rooms between cases.

    * Assisting in positioning patients for procedures.

    * Assisting in transporting patients.

    * Assisting with transporting labs/specimens.

    * Providing excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team.

    * Assisting patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collect data, and ensure the patient has a safe, organized environment.

    * Assisting with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.

    * Supporting the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties.

    *Required:*

    * Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.

    * Excellent interpersonal skills.

    * American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider **

    *Preferred:* :

    * Multiple patient care skills preferred.

    * Prefer one year experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities.
