Job Description:

The selected candidates’ task encompasses the following: develops, tests, and integrates network configurations with COTS network components, GFE, NSA type 1 encryptors, and radio/terminal systems. The selected candidate will be performing these duties on a later identified program in Huntsville, Alabama.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD. DoD Preferred or years in lieu of a degree

• Active Secret Security Clearance

• 8570 IAT Level II Certification (such as CompTia Security +)

• Experience with network engineering, including development and configuration

• Subnetting IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

• Layer 2 networking fundamentals; VLANs, Trunking, EtherChannels, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and layer 3 technologies like Sub-Interfaces and routing protocols.

• Experience with Cisco components, including Routers, Switches, and Firewalls

• Demonstrates a strong aptitude for learning

• Ability to adapt to rapid change

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Air Defense Experience

• Experience with SAFe Agile

• Experience with Army Tactical Radios & Terminals

• Familiar with IPv4 and IPv6 multicast

• Cisco CCNA

• Experience with DISA STIGs and how they’re applied to network devices

Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
