This role has responsibility for the accurate and compliant handling of inbound and returned pharmaceutical products, ensuring all inbound shipments are received per the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). This will include efficient handling of incoming goods and processed returns, ensuring that all procedures are followed and documented accurately utilizing Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) for real-time inventory control and traceability. support the Quality and Customer Service teams in resolving Inventory issues using SAP, WMS and other appropriate tools resulting in enhanced customer experience and increase customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities

+ Utilizes radio frequency (RF) system and operates fork-lift to unload trucks receive shipments, and put-away inventory.
+ Ensure all inbound shipments are unloaded safely, timely, inspected for damages and shortages upon receipt
+ Receive inbound shipments, verify product details against packing slips, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
+ Perform quality checks to ensure shipment integrity, proper labeling, and compliance.
+ Process returns adhering to company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
+ Maintain FDA and DEA regulatory compliance by ensuring cleanroom integrity and proper handling of temperature-sensitive and controlled substances
+ Ensure all inbound products are correctly put-away to bin location for storage, replenishment and picking functions
+ Participate in cycle counts, audits, and ongoing distribution process improvement initiatives
+ Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
+ Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other department and outside waste disposal vendor.
+ Follows Glenmark Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
+ Assist in other distribution functional areas as necessary
+ Assist Receiving and Operations teams with the investigation and resolution of inventory related issues.
+ Assist Cycle Counting team with investigating inventory related issues utilizing Material Handling Equipment
+ Partner with Customer Service in issuing RGAs and other return issues.
+ Process returns and prepare product for destruction or return to stock partnering with Quality Control and Warehousing as applicable.
+ Partnering with Quality Control to process, receive, and ship control substance materials.
+ Investigating customer shorts leading to resolution and customer satisfaction.
+ Assist Customer Service with inventory related issues and inquiries.
+ Assist Quality Control with inventory issues related to product destruction.
+ Identify opportunities and drive process improvements throughout the distribution operations.
+ Generate metrics, analysis and reporting around key performance indicators.
+ Assist with Picking and Auditing functions utilizing stand-up reach forklift, powered pallet Jack during End of Month and End of Quarter timeframe
Qualifications
Education
+ HS Diploma/bachelor-s degree required
Experience
+ 1-3 Years of Distribution/Inventory Control Experience
Knowledge and Skills
+ WMS (Manhattan) experience preferred
+ Technical capacity with Excel and Outlook
+ Pharmaceutical Regulatory statues, GMP compliance
+ Previous Distribution, Inventory Control, and Forklift training
+ Working with Carrier Vendors, MHE Vendors
+ Familiarity with DEA, DSCSA, and cGMP compliance.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in high-volume settings.
+ Experience with RF technology
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Organizational Skills
+ Time Management
+ Working knowledge of SAP Inventory Transactions required.
+ Experience in the Pharmaceutical and or Medical Device Industry preferred.
+ Ability to work OT and weekends when needed
+ Ability to communicate with external suppliers via phone, email
+ Setup and lead meetings across Glenmark functions and external vendors
+ MHE - Material Handling Equipment certification
Physical Demands and Abilities
+ The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
+ The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office
+ Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
+ The incumbent is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range - $40,000 - 50,000 USD
The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits. An individual-s final compensation offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education level, relevant experience, training, and geographic location.
