QA lead with Duckcreek and** **Property & Casualty (P&C)

We are looking for a seasoned and driven **QA Lead** with expertise in **Duck Creek technologies** and **Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance** to join our high-performing team. Roles/Responsibilities

• Play a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role of Commercial Underwriting Application for Auto Liability, General Liability, Workers Compensation, other P&C Product

• Work as a bridge between UAT users and IT (Developers and Quality Assurance)

• Close liaison with Business UAT Stakeholders addressing UAT application issues, triaging with Business Analysts or underwriter to screen for existing production issues uncovered by UAT or QA

• Assist UAT users with test data set up. Implement automated scripts for test data generation

• Execute periodic/on demand batch jobs as required for UAT

• Drive and implement test automation for User Acceptance Testing

• UAT Defect Management and Triaging by supplying defect information, help in recreating as required, retest UAT defects

• Triage with Developers on UAT defects, recreating, retesting UAT defects

• Collaborate with UAT and DQ users to avoid duplicate defects between UAT and DQ. Work as a gatekeeper for screening and avoiding invalid defects

• Help minimize UAT delays and reduce overall UAT cycle time

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Commercial P&C Domain Experience in Auto, General Liability, Property, Workers Compensation

• At least 2 years of commercial underwriting domain experience in the capacity of BA or quality assurance testing

• 2+ years of Duck Creek product experience in implementing and testing P&C products

• 10+ years of testing experience with strong understanding of testing methodologies, techniques

• Strong understanding on test data preparation achieving optimal test data combinations

• Ability to automate test scripts with Playwright/Java based framework and troubleshoot test automation scripts, execute test automation scripts

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for execution of test automation

• Strong stakeholder management skills with solid interpersonal communications including verbal and written communications

• Understanding of testing metrics reporting

• Ability to handle mid-senior and senior level Business and IT stakeholders (CIO minus one level) independently with tailored status reporting

• Ability to work in onsite/offshore model

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until July 30th, 2025

The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 to 112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
