Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Java Lead where you will leverage your extensive experience to drive impactful projects.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our systems and processes contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Participate in business and functional requirement gatherings by understanding constantly changing healthcare business needs.
Develop applications, interfaces and tools by producing clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code by using Cognizant and client established best practice methods.
Design cost effective applications and interfaces to fulfill complex objects of project
Writes and verifies code which adheres to the acceptance criteria for the agile features.
Automate unit testing tasks through appropriate testing frameworks.
Perform application security testing and static code analysis using sonar to identify and fix security vulnerabilities in the UHG applications.
Skills:
8+ years in IT, possess strong technical skills in React Js Spring Boot Microservices and Core Java with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Demonstrate extensive experience in the Medicare and Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

BS or equivalent
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
