    Job Title: Logistics SpecialistJob Description

     

    As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials. Your responsibilities will include overseeing transportation, inventory, and warehousing to ensure timely delivery that meets customer and operational requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations including transportation, shipping, and receiving.

    + Manage and track inventory levels to ensure product availability and accuracy.

    + Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

    + Optimize logistics processes and recommend improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

    + Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.

    + Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies, including customs and import/export regulations.

    + Handle customer service issues related to delivery and logistics.

    + Prepare and analyze reports related to logistics performance, cost analysis, and KPIs.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management.

    + Experience with SAP/ERP systems.

    + Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

    + Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

    + Strong communication and negotiation skills.

    + Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Fast learner and adaptable.

    + Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field preferred.

    + 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related operations role.

    + Strong knowledge of logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems).

    Work Environment

    The Logistics Specialist role requires the ability to lift 25 pounds. This position involves working in a dynamic environment where you will oversee transportation, inventory, and warehousing to ensure efficient and timely delivery.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
