    Job Title: Legal Assistant – Family Law

    Overview

    A well-established law firm in Boston is seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Assistant to support its busy Family Law department. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and delivers exceptional administrative support with a “white glove” approach to client service.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys in the Family Law department.

    + Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conciliations and court-related appointments.

    + Monitor and organize high volumes of incoming and outgoing mail.

    + Maintain and organize both digital and physical case files for easy access and accuracy.

    + Monitor and respond to emails on behalf of attorneys, ensuring timely and professional communication.

    + Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone and email, delivering a high-touch, client-first experience.

    + Assist with drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.

    + Perform general office tasks including scanning, sorting, and filing documents.

    Qualifications:

    Must-Have Skills & Experience:

    + Prior experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role, preferably within Family Law.

    + Strong administrative support skills including data entry, document management, and scheduling.

    + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.

    + Professional demeanor and a client-focused mindset.

    Nice-to-Have:

    + Experience scheduling conciliations or court-related appointments.

    + Familiarity with paralegal tasks or training.

    + Experience in a legal environment or law firm setting.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $60.00/hr.
