Job Title: Entry Level Financial Analyst
Job Description
This position is within the Securities Administration Services (SAS) group, where you will be responsible for processing complex transactions or reconcilements related to loan or security payments. You will provide remittance and correction information to servicers and monitor and analyze pooled loans to determine non-compliance, communicating this information to investors. You will evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements and participate in system enhancements by attending user groups and testing. Additionally, you will identify and communicate processing exceptions relevant to similar series across individual portfolios.
Responsibilities
+ Provide remittance and correction information to servicers.
+ Monitor and analyze pooled loans for non-compliance, and communicate findings to investors.
+ Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with agreements.
+ Participate in system enhancements by attending user groups and testing.
+ Identify and communicate processing exceptions relevant to portfolios.
+ Maintain expertise in Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration.
+ Train junior staff and review their processing and reconciliations.
+ Propose recommendations and implement automated solutions.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and V Look Up.
+ Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business or related fields.
+ 1+ year experience in Financial Services, including internships.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong business analysis skills.
+ Experience with data analysis and finance-related tasks.
Work Environment
The work environment is extremely team-oriented and deadline-driven, requiring analyses to be completed at specific times during the month, which may necessitate overtime. The position offers growth opportunities within the organization and provides remote flexibility, except during large conferences or team meetings scheduled in Columbia, MD. The schedule is hybrid and flexible, with some training and large team meetings conducted on-site monthly.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
