    Join Our Fear Free, AAHA-Accredited Team! **VCA Animal Wellness Center of Maple Grove** is seeking a **Certified** **Veterinary Technician** to join our exceptional & compassionate team!

     

    **Schedule:** This is a full-time, 4 x 10 hours , flexible position that would include occasional Saturdays.

    **Compensation:** $ 20 - 28/hr and the pay range is determined by the skill set and years of experience in the field.

    + Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures

    + Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, and administering medications

    + Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with dental cleanings and radiographs

    + Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and home care instructions

    + Completing TPRs, collecting lab samples, and running in-house diagnostics

    + Maintaining accurate medical records and preparing exam rooms

    + Supporting Fear Free handling techniques to reduce stress for patients
