• Utility Billing Specialist

    Aston Carter (Ontario, CA)


    + Meter Transfers (Pre-Transfer, Execution & Post-Transfer)

    + Pre-Transfer Activities & Checks (Credit check, Customer code creation, meter identification, etc.)

    + Call utility companies to initiate and confirm meter transfers.

    + Notify internal stakeholders (Accounts Payable, Billing, Schneider) of each transfer.

    + Closing Meter Transfer Tasks for projects which include creating records for future meter transfers.

    + Analyze current allocations post-PTO and adjust to maximize value.

    + Update allocation percentages and reconfigure them in the utility portals.

    + Customer Utility Bill Collection

    + Evaluate optimal utility rate options post-PTO for each site individually and call the utilities to effectuate the rate change.

    + Draft and send individual customer communication emails

    + Track meter return status per customer and flag unresolved issues.

    + Coordinate with managers to escalate or assist with unresponsive customers.

    Qualification:

    + Bachelors degree

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, and v-lookups)

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
