    Mechanical Engineering Technician

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

     

    Compensation: $24–$35 per hour, commensurate with experience

     

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our innovative engineering team.

     

    This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong experience in mechanical systems, testing, and fabrication.

     

    You will play a key role in supporting product development, prototyping, and testing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

     

    •Top Must-Have Qualifications

    To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:

    + Controller Programming Experience: Proficient in Mitsubishi and/or Arduino platforms

    + CAD Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks with the ability to create 3D models

    + 3D Printing Knowledge: Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing technologies

    + Test Equipment Familiarity: Able to operate and interpret data from torque, force, and temperature instruments

    + Precision Measurement Skills: Proficient with calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other precision tools

    + Tooling & Fixturing Experience: Capable of designing and assembling custom fixtures and jigs

    + Machine Shop Expertise: Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and operating shop machinery

    + Technical Reporting: Ability to document test procedures and results clearly and accurately

    Key Responsibilities

    + Program and troubleshoot controllers, including Mitsubishi and Arduino platforms

    + Design and modify mechanical components using AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks

    + Operate and maintain machine shop equipment including milling machines, drill presses, and CNC tools

    + Conduct mechanical and electrical testing using torque, force, and temperature measurement equipment

    + Interpret and record data from various gauges and instrumentation

    + Utilize 3D printing technologies for prototyping and development

    + Fabricate and assemble tooling and fixtures to support testing and production

    + Prepare detailed technical reports documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations

    Required Experience

    + 3–4 years of experience in a mechanical or engineering technician role

    + Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tooling, and fixturing

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $60.10/hr.
