Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Business Unit Finance – Automotive Operations Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Analyst, Accounting & Finance.

The primary responsibility of this role as part of the Business Unit Finance team is to serve as the main point of contact to Toyota Division customers for all finance-related matters, including guiding forecast development, consulting on business cases, providing financial analysis, as well as other tasks in service to the customer.

Reporting to the Manager, Accounting & Finance, the person in this role will support the Business Unit Finance – Automotive Operations department's objective to be the Best in Class integrated Accounting & Finance team providing single point of contact to best service our Customers. Empowered BU Finance team members have a strong relationship with each Business unit, full understanding of operational areas, and are a trusted partner to provide accurate/timely financial analysis for all business decisions.

What you’ll be doing

+ Guide the development of quarterly forecasts for the Toyota Marketing and Sales budget holders.

+ Build relationships with budget holders up to general managers within the division, keeping them up to date and knowledgeable about their progress forward their forecast.

+ Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis to support the overall North American profit story.

+ Assist with various finance and accounting related tasks in service to Toyota Marketing and Sales budget holders, including managing accruals, advising on journal entries, advising on contracts, and education on corporate policies.

+ Support ad hoc projects and requests from North American Finance leadership as needed.

What you bring

+ Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related subject

+ Experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and/or related discipline.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.

+ Excellent analytic, presentation, interpersonal, and organization skills.

+ Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline, and detail-driven environment.

+ Strong PC proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and effectively apply data manipulation tools to analyze large datasets.

Added bonus if you have

+ Experience with SAP and BPC Planning software.

+ Experience with analytical tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.).

+ Experience with Anaplan.

+ MBA / CMA / CPA.

+ Understanding of the automotive industry.

+ Marketing or advertising budget experience.
