    Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

     

    Join our team as a Software Engineer, where you will work on a mission-critical aviation communications network. Your role will involve developing high-availability software solutions integral to the success of our communications system. You will engage in all phases of the product lifecycle, from customer requirements elicitation and system design to software development, testing, and formal acceptance. Your work will adhere to CMMI level 3 processes and coding standards, ensuring reliability and quality in every aspect.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, code, test, integrate, and document software of high complexity according to CMMI level 3 processes and procedures.

    + Participate in the engineering and development of systems and software for the worldwide aviation communications system.

    + Perform unit and integration testing to validate software functionality.

    + Develop software based on system requirements, creating a design and code that meets planned schedules.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in C and Python programming languages.

    + Experience with Linux and AWS environments.

    + Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

    + Database development and proficiency in SQL.

    + STEM degree with 3-4 years of experience in relevant fields.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in developing, testing, and deploying software.

    + Knowledge of security, CI/CD, and data communications.

    + Application development and software design expertise.

    + Familiarity with communication systems and CMMI standards.

    Work Environment

    This role requires working onsite four days a week in a collaborative environment. You will be part of a team that advances aviation electronics and information management solutions. Our work connects aircraft operators, airports, rail, and critical infrastructure with intelligent data service solutions, ensuring safety and connectivity for passengers and flight crews.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
