    We are seeking a self-starter who can utilize their skills in QT to develop embedded software and test it in a simulated environment and hands-on with equipment. The role involves architecting, designing, implementing, and testing real-time software that controls features found on both large and small off-road vehicles. You will drive projects forward using your experience in systems and software product development, including Model-Based Software Development (Matlab and Simulink) and C programming. You will develop applications in an Agile environment for automated engine controls, think creatively to devise innovative solutions to complex software problems, and provide local and remote technical support to engineering, manufacturing, operations, and service organizations.

    Responsibilities

    + Architect, design, implement, and test real-time software for off-road vehicle controls.

    + Drive projects using systems and software product development experience.

    + Develop applications in Agile environments for automated engine controls.

    + Devise innovative solutions for complex software problems.

    + Provide technical support to various organizational departments.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience developing event-driven applications.

    + Knowledge of C, Python, and QT programming languages.

    + Experience developing within a Linux OS.

    + Experience with automated testing and test-driven development.

    + Experience with model-based development (MATLAB/Simulink).

    + Ability to troubleshoot embedded systems hardware and software problems.

    + Knowledge of Controller Area Network (CAN).

    + Ability to work in a team environment.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

    + Engineering experience including Software Architecture, Embedded Software Development, Model-Based Software Design.

    Work Environment

    The work will be performed onsite in a dedicated office space. The role involves direct engagement with projects and requires collaboration with various teams to move software and controls projects forward. The environment offers opportunities for innovative and highly technical work.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.08/hr.
