Job Title: Controls Engineer - Lawrenceburg, KY
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer to support plant operations in the bottling department, which is nearly fully automated. This role involves working with PLCs for troubleshooting and programming, as well as handling some Fanuc robots for palletizing and pick-and-place tasks. You will be performing factory acceptance testing, installation, and integration as part of an ongoing plant expansion. Additionally, you will manage projects and collaborate with vendors.
Responsibilities
+ Provide controls engineering support to production, focusing on the bottling department.
+ Troubleshoot and program PLCs to ensure smooth operations.
+ Work with Fanuc robots for palletizing and pick-and-place operations.
+ Conduct factory acceptance testing, installation, and integration during plant expansion.
+ Manage engineering projects and coordinate with vendors.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in controls engineering.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Experience with robotics, particularly in a bottling environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in a controls engineering role.
+ Familiarity with plant manufacturing processes.
+ Experience in managing projects and leading engineering teams.
Work Environment
This position is based in a plant manufacturing environment with climate control. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4/5 PM. Enjoy the opportunity to work in one of the top distilleries in Kentucky, which is currently undergoing a significant $160 million plant expansion. The company offers a generous amount of PTO and recognizes six holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
