    Job Title: Lab Technician – Fragrance DevelopmentJob Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lab Technician to support our fragrance design and development team. This role plays a critical part in the execution of creative fragrance projects by managing sample preparation, coordinating cross-functional workflows, and maintaining lab operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring strong organizational and communication skills to the team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Sample Preparation & Support:

    + Provide backup support for fragrance compounding and formulation activities.

    + Manage and prioritize incoming sample requests to ensure timely delivery.

    + Coordinate closely with perfumers and fragrance evaluators to align on project timelines and sample needs.

    + Project Coordination:

    + Track and manage creative briefs and project timelines to ensure on-time execution.

    + Liaise with internal departments including sales, marketing, and shipping to support project flow and logistics.

    + Lab & Inventory Management:

    + Maintain and organize the fragrance sample library, ensuring accurate labeling and storage.

    + Source raw materials and supplies as needed to support ongoing projects.

    + Assist with shipping and packaging of fragrance samples when logistics support is unavailable.

    + Customer & Sales Support:

    + Provide timely and accurate information to the sales team regarding sample availability and status.

    + Respond to sample-related inquiries with a customer-focused approach, offering solutions and updates as needed.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field.

    + 1–2 years of experience in a laboratory or product development environment, preferably in the fragrance, cosmetics, or consumer goods industry.

    + Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

    + Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with lab management software is a plus.

    + Comfortable working in an environment with strong scents and raw materials.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
