    We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to create control systems for various product lines using AutoCAD 2D. The role involves producing detailed electrical control systems for material handling equipment, bag filling equipment, and bag palletizers, with comprehensive drawings for both manufacturing and field assembly.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide electrical drafting and design work using AutoCAD.

    + Produce detailed drawings for electrical control systems for manufacturing and field assembly.

    + Collaborate with shop workers to troubleshoot and adjust designs as necessary.

    + Ensure all machines are operational before shipment to customers.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.

    + Experience in control system design and schematic design.

    + Understanding of ladder logic for system design.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ideally 5 years of experience, although new graduates with relevant internships or experience may be considered.

    + Preferred: Associates Degree, although a Bachelor's or no degree may be acceptable.

    + Preferred: Knowledge of ladder logic.

    Work Environment

    The role is primarily office-based, supporting computer design, with occasional trips to the shop floor to review parts. The work environment is relaxed, with a casual dress code of jeans and t-shirts. The company culture includes fun activities such as bags tournaments, water pong, and catered lunches, with occasional ice cream days.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
