Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thu 7:30-5:30 Fri 7:30-11:30
Summary of Position
Provide administrative support to the computer science department.
Minimum Required Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum Required Experience
Four years wage earning clerical experience, or certification / successful completion of relevant trade school (30 college credits) and one-year wage earning clerical experience.
A copy of certificates and/or college transcripts required with application for evaluation purposes.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access;
+ Proficient with personal computer navigation and use;
+ Possess extensive Internet navigation skills;
+ Demonstrate highly professional written and oral communication skills;
+ Demonstrate fundamental grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure, and filing skills;
+ Able to proofread and verify reports and other documents with a high degree of accuracy;
+ Able to interact effectively and professionally with the public, students, and with all levels of employees;
+ Able to maintain confidentiality of all information;
+ Able to work independently, set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task;
+ Able to operate copy machines, printers, and fax machines; Perform other duties assigned
