Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler
Job Description
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for operating power industrial trucks and machinery to move products, materials, and supplies efficiently. This role involves loading items onto trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets. The position requires candidates to operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts. Interviews will be conducted at a location across the street from the normal plant.
Responsibilities
+ Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials and products.
+ Load and unload items onto trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets.
+ Handle inventory and utilize RF scanners for order picking.
+ Perform general labor and production tasks.
+ Ensure accurate material handling and inventory management.
Essential Skills
+ 6+ months of experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts.
+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
+ Proficiency in basic math skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with RF scanners.
+ Knowledge of general labor and production processes.

Work Environment
The work environment is manufacturing and production-based, with exposure to high and precarious places, moving machinery, and varying temperature and humidity levels. Expect conditions to be loud and dusty, with odors and fumes present. Shifts are available in A/B (6:45am-6:45pm) and C/D (6:45pm-6:45am), and packaging shifts include Days (6:00am-2:30pm, M-F), Mids (2:30pm-11:00pm, M-F), and Nights (10:30pm-7:00am, Sun-Thurs). The facility is not climate-controlled, leading to high temperatures in the summer and normal temperatures in the winter. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes with jeans or shorts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
