    Human Resources Analyst A, B or C

     

    The Human Resource Analyst position is responsible for performing specialized duties of all facets of Human Resources in DOTD District 62 Human Resources Office, and will report directly to the Region 2 HR Manager.

     

    While in official capacity, DOTD employees must comply with all applicable Louisiana and Civil Service laws, rules, and regulations, as well as DOTD policies, procedures, manuals, and directives.

    AN IDEAL CANIDATE SHOULD POSESS THE FOLLLOWING COMPETENCIES:

    Communicating Effectively: The ability to relay information correctly and appropriately to connect people and ideas.

     

    Focusing on Customers: The ability to serve the needs of those who support and/or rely on the services provided.

     

    Making Accurate Judgments: The ability to form an opinion objectively and decisively based on relevant information and in accordance with established standards.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Three years of human resources experience; OR

    Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR

    A bachelor’s degree.

    EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

    Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

    Position-Specific Details:

    This position may be filled as either a probational appointment (open to all qualified applicants); a promotion (open to all statewide classified and Agency-wide permanent status employees); or by detail to special duty.

    Special Entrance Rate (SER)

    + Human Resources Analyst A - $1,394.40/biweekly

    + Human Resources Analyst B - $1,491.20/biweekly

    + Human Resources Analyst C - $1,648.00/biweekly

    Progressive Premium Pay for hours actually worked

    0 months to less than 2 years - $1.00/hour

    2 years to less than 4 years - $1.50/hour

    4 years or greater - $2.00/hour

     

    This position is in a Career Progression Group (CPG) and is being posted at the following levels: Human Resources Analyst A, Human Resources Analyst B or Human Resources Analyst C. The maximum salary for the Human Resources Analyst C is $84,302.00.
