About this Job
The overall function of this position is to perform routine manual tasks in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitary conditions and appearance of the Chase Headquarters. This position is located in District 58, Unit 701 of the Department of Transportation and Development and reports directly to the maintenance foreman.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Perform janitorial duties as required by supervisor to achieve a clean and sanitary work environment. Examples of duties include but are not limited to:
+ Sweeping, mopping, spill cleanup, cleaning windows and walls, cleaning restrooms, dusting, mixing cleaning solutions, and other assigned janitorial duties. Keeping building entrances and grounds clean and free of litter.
+ Removing trash from receptacles and taking to dumpster.
+ Maintaining cleanliness and sanitary conditions in kitchens and bathrooms.
+ Vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
+ Assisting others in general grounds maintenance.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational
Career Progression: This position may be filled as a Custodian 1, 2, or 3.
Work Schedule:This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday during business hours.
Compensation:
Custodian 1: $10.00/hr
Custodian 2: $10.70/hr
Custodian 3: $12.25/hr
Note: A current driver's license is required.
