Inspector

**Location:** Bohemia

**Employment Type:** Contract 3 Months

**Pay:** Up to $29/hour _based on experience_

+ Set up and operate measuring instruments to check product quality

+ Approve or reject parts based on inspection results, and document any issues found

+ Perform visual checks on electrical connections to ensure they are mechanically sound and electrically functional

+ Inspect precision parts, sub-assemblies, final assemblies, first-piece, in-process, and incoming parts using various inspection tools and gauges.

+ Set up and operate gauging and measuring instruments to verify part compliance.

+ Identify reasons for rejects and document findings clearly.

+ Document quality standards.

Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in inspection or quality control is a plus.

+ Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

+ Familiarity with wire bond, die bond, and hybrid inspection processes is a plus.

+ Comfortable working a contract position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
