    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    This role involves sorting, lifting, catching, and packaging tile while ensuring quality control. You will be responsible for stacking tile from a pallet onto a conveyor, as well as cleaning tasks when the line is not running. The work is extremely messy and requires the ability to get wet and dirty.

    Responsibilities

    + Sort, lift, catch, and package tile while inspecting for quality control.

    + Stack tile from a pallet onto a conveyor.

    + Clean the line, including sweeping and spraying down with a hose.

    + Ensure exceptional attendance, reliability, and performance in assembly, packaging, and inspection tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general labor, and general production.

    + Previous manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to solve practical problems using logic.

    + Self-sufficient under general supervision.

    + Comfortable getting dirty when needed.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior experience in an old industrial environment working around large machines and equipment.

    + Demonstrated track record of exceptional attendance, reliability, and performance.

    + Ability to count accurately and perform tasks involving repetitive movements such as twisting, bending, kneeling, and crouching.

    + Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds throughout the duration of the shift.

    Work Environment

     

    The facility is an old industrial building with large, dusty, and dirty equipment, creating an intimidating environment. The job is very dirty, with exposure to dust, glaze, and water. Face masks are required in areas with silica exposure, and employees will be test-fitted for respirators. Working near kilns can make the environment quite hot.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, Washington.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
