Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with proficiency in using hand and power tools, alongside experience in operating and setting up manufacturing machinery. A successful candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting capabilities and demonstrate experience that aligns with the responsibilities of this position.

Responsibilities

+ Operate manufacturing machinery efficiently.

+ Set up and calibrate manufacturing equipment.

+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

+ Employ calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.

+ Troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues as they arise.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in assembly and machine setup.

+ Mechanical inclination and general labor experience.

+ Ability to meet attendance standards.

+ Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40lbs, bending, walking, standing, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Eyesight appropriate for assigned tasks.

+ Experience in farm hand or heavy industrial environments is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work environment is an old manufacturing setting that may be dusty, with temperature extremes, being very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Individuals with farm hand experience or heavy industrial experience may find it easier to transition into this environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
