Job Title: TIG Weld Lead

$25-$28

1st shift (7am-4:30pm) Monday through Friday.

Job Description

This position requires a skilled individual to lead welding operations during off-shift hours. The ideal candidate will be proficient in TIG and MIG welding, with additional experience in carbon, stainless, and aluminum welding being beneficial. The role demands a willingness to learn fabrication techniques and commit to working overtime, ranging from 50 to 60 hours per week. Candidate will occasionally go in to the field to fabricate and install equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform TIG and MIG welding tasks with proficiency.

+ Complete weld tests upon entry to demonstrate capability.

+ Engage in fabrication work and learn new techniques.

+ Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Familiarity with TIG welding and various materials such as stainless, carbon, and aluminum.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with fabrication using different equipment.

+ Understanding of mechanical processes.

+ Supervisory potential with a strong grasp of MIG processes.

Work Environment

Work within a non-temp controlled manufacturing facility where steel toe shoes are required. No certifications are necessary for this role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
