Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing logistics for feedstock delivery processes at an organic waste processing facility. This includes liaising with feedstock suppliers, scheduling deliveries, and overseeing on-site management of trucks accessing the site. Your role will encompass scale management and positioning for material offload, as well as assisting in feedstock supply management, scheduling, forecasting, and customer service.
Responsibilities
+ Schedule feedstock deliveries daily, weekly, and monthly with input from operations and feedstock suppliers.
+ Manage scale operations, including truck weigh-in, weigh-out, load ticket management, and accounting.
+ Oversee trucker entry and logistics on-site.
+ Interface with the operations team and feedstock suppliers to develop schedules.
+ Support in the development of feedstock accounts and attend site visits to assess logistics.
+ Assist operations and other team members as needed to meet schedules and make adjustments.
+ Track delivery details, sources, and estimated times of arrival (ETAs).
+ Communicate with carriers regarding schedules and deliveries.
+ Collaborate with managers and team members to implement new strategies and initiatives.
+ Work with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
+ Inform management of ongoing performance issues.
+ Manage feedstock receiving software and hardware devices, including administration of users, training, and updates to workflows.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in transportation and dispatch operations.
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Experience in customer service, freight, and logistics.
+ Ability in inventory control and data entry.
+ Administrative skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1-3 years of previous experience in industry procedures, costs, terms, supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field.
+ Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
+ Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25-30 lbs.
+ High school diploma.
+ Driver's license.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
