Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

The Service Technician plays a vital role in supporting modular office construction through skilled trades labor. This includes tasks such as painting, cleaning, drywall, and carpentry. The technician will be responsible for building and refurbishing modular office trailers, performing repairs, and ensuring the readiness of the fleet of modular buildings. A keen eye for quality and a commitment to safety are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

+ Perform repairs on mobile office trailers, including framing, finish carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and running gear.

+ Maintain proper inventory levels for all equipment, tools, parts, and VAPS necessary for service tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus

+ Flexible with duties; may involve painting, cleaning job sites, and warehouse tasks

Essential Skills

+ High School diploma or GED

+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

+ Basic computer knowledge

+ Good communication skills

+ Carpentry knowledge and experience

+ Valid driver's license with a clean record

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily outdoors and can be hot. It is not accessible by public transportation, so a driver's license is necessary. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $28.75/hr.
