Job Title: Environmental Service Worker
Job Description
The Environmental Service Worker performs general housekeeping duties, inventory and progress tracking and reporting, linen collection, and ensures cleanliness by mopping, sweeping, dusting, and disinfecting. This role involves trash and hazardous waste disposal and may require work in various locations on client premises. The individual maintains an orderly condition in facilities such as commercial health care, schools, universities, or other establishments.
Responsibilities
+ Perform general housekeeping duties.
+ Track and report inventory and progress.
+ Collect linens and manage their disposal.
+ Mop, sweep, dust, and disinfect assigned areas.
+ Dispose of trash and hazardous waste responsibly.
+ Ensure facilities are maintained in orderly condition across different establishments.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in cleaning and housekeeping.
+ Experience in janitorial and large-scale cleaning services.
+ Ability to perform sweeping and mopping tasks.
+ Capability to engage in general labor and environmental services.
+ Skill in cleaning offices and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in environmental services in health care settings.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Environment
The work environment is within McLaren - Flint Hospital, offering positions on the 1st Shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and the 2nd Shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The role involves working in a healthcare facility, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flint, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.34 - $16.34/hr.
