Job Title: Commercial Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrical Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and diagnosis of various commercial electrical components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to work independently, handle complex electrical systems, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

+ Install, maintain, and diagnose commercial electrical components.

+ Terminate and pull wires into control centers, panels, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switchgear, receptacles, switches, and raceways.

+ Troubleshoot, test, and repair emergency generators, automatic transfer switches, and power distribution systems.

+ Work with refrigeration control wiring, Ansul Systems, or HVAC motor control wiring.

+ Independently interpret blueprints, sketches, or schematic drawings.

+ Provide informative customer service about the nature of electrical repairs.

+ Operate company vehicles following department policies.

+ Utilize cell phone communication, GPS, and electronic documentation technology.

+ Submit service paperwork and reports as required.

+ Be available to work Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.

+ Willingly take on additional duties to support the department.

Essential Skills

+ Troubleshooting electrical systems

+ Repairing electrical components

+ Five or more years of experience in commercial electrical service or construction

+ Valid driver license with no more than two points or restrictions in the last five years

+ Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

+ Adherence to safety guidelines, CALOSHA, and workplace policies

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ California Journeyman Electrical License is a plus

+ Experience with refrigeration control wiring and HVAC motor control wiring

Work Environment

This position involves working on commercial projects with a regular schedule from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
