Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable HVAC Helper to assist our HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the HVAC industry and gain hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities
+ Assist HVAC technicians in the installation of HVAC systems.
+ Support maintenance and repair tasks for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
+ Ensure compliance with construction and installation standards.
+ Collaborate with team members to complete daily project goals.
+ Handle sheet metal, duct work, and HVAC installation tasks.
+ Utilize blueprints for accurate installation.
Essential Skills
+ Previous HVAC and construction experience.
+ Interest in the HVAC field.
+ Reliable transportation.
+ Knowledge of installation, sheet metal, blueprint, duct work, and air conditioning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in HVAC and construction is advantageous.
+ No specific certifications required.

Work Environment
Work is conducted during the 1st shift, starting between 6-7 am and ending around 3-4 pm, with shifts lasting 9-10 hours. The start time depends on the assigned project. Projects are construction-based at various job sites in Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Grand Rapids. You will work alongside other trades while production is ongoing, collaborating in teams of 2-10. Required PPE includes steel-toed boots, a hard hat, safety glasses, and a reflective vest.

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
