The Advanced Process Equipment Technician is technical support for Critical Production Equipment that is considered to be or has potential to become an Advanced Production System that requires a high level of engineered controls to ensure effective and standardized operation. This job supports equipment in 2 different buildings within 5 mins of each other.
Main Objectives:
• Advanced Production systems include production systems controlled by a computer interface, programed logic controller, or custom built configuration.
• Monitor and update equipment inventory records.
• Work with facility Maintenance staff and Engineers to coordinate efficient equipment support workflow.
• Purchase new equipment and supplies as needed.
• Ensure that all advanced production equipment is in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot any problems that arise with equipment.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance within standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to perform routine maintenance.

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience
• Associates, Technology, or Trade School degree in a related field, technical certification, or 2+ years of experience in equipment support with hands on maintenance of specialized process or electro -mechanical equipment. Automotive repair experience a plus.
