    Work you'll do

    Oversee the day-to-day development of applications, including program design, coding, testing, debugging, and requirements documentation. Serve as project leader and technical lead with responsibilities that include instructing, directing, and checking the work of other application developers. Ensure application design, development schedule, and implementation meet or exceed documented application scope/timeline, while adhering to established standards. Provide recommendations for application component and data architecture design, integration and configurations services, performance monitoring, quality assurance review and product evaluation. Serve internal or external clients. Oversee project delivery, monitor, and review various development deliverables ensuring all are consistent with standards. Lead coding and other work activities as necessary. Perform technical design and document technical specifications. Assist application architects in the creation of application, integration, and data architecture. Analyze business/ functional requirements and prepare development project schedule, tasks, and estimates. Lead daily collaboration efforts with project team members to identify issues and risks associated with the design, implementation, and delivery of project assignments. Provide on-going support to business and content teams managing sites on strategic technology platforms. Develop, maintain, and execute unit and integration test scenarios (automated or manual) to validate programs/application functionality and integration.

    Requirements

    Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Lead Application Developer-related occupation.

    Position requires at least 5 years of experience in the following:

    + Performing application development and support with at least one of following: JavaScript, Node JS, HTML5, SAP XSA, Python, R.

    + Performing application design and project management of business software solutions.

    + Using software development lifecycle methodologies with at least one of following: Waterfall, RUP, Agile.

    + Performing database development with at least one of following: SAP HANA, MS SQL Server, ODATA.

    + Using data visualization tools with at least one of following: SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, SAP Analysis for Office, SAP Business Objects.

    + Performing architecture and technical design of enterprise solutions with at least one of following: OOD, SOA, web services, APIs.

    + Applying all phases of applications programming.
