    TEKsystems (Pineville, LA)


    We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join our IT team and serve as an on-site stakeholder in our digital transformation journey. This role will play a key part in our migration to Microsoft E3, Azure IaaS, and Intune, while supporting enterprise-wide infrastructure modernization and device management initiatives.

     

    Lead and support the migration of on-premise infrastructure (50+ servers) to Microsoft Azure (IaaS).

     

    Oversee the transition from Workspace ONE to Microsoft Intune for device provisioning and management.

     

    Manage enterprise SharePoint migrations including site builds, data classification, and file server decommissioning.

     

    Support Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint) optimization and reduce tool sprawl.

     

    Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues via ZenDesk ITSM.

     

    Collaborate with Systems Administrators and the existing Systems Engineer to build SOPs and improve IT operations.

     

    Assist in SaaS evaluations and ensure compliance within the Microsoft ecosystem.

     

    Perform general systems administration and virtualization tasks.

     

    Identify and orchestrate assets into Intune for streamlined device management.

    Enterprise Microsoft Project Migration Experience is a huge plus

    Required Qualifications:

    5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or IT Infrastructure roles.

     

    Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (E3), Azure IaaS, Intune, and SharePoint Online.

     

    Proficiency in virtualization technologies and traditional systems administration.

     

    Experience with ITSM platforms (ZenDesk preferred).

     

    Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps).

     

    Strong troubleshooting and escalation handling skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with enterprise-scale migrations and hybrid cloud environments.

     

    Knowledge of SaaS compliance and governance within Microsoft environments.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
