    Job Title: Member Services Representative – Call Center Support

     

    Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM M-F

    Job Description:

    As a Member Services Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for members and health plan partners, handling a high volume of inbound calls through multi-issue phone queues. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while accurately documenting each interaction in accordance with organizational standards. The role requires maintaining or exceeding productivity benchmarks, with a minimum expectation of managing 50+ calls per day.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls from members and health plan representatives.

    + Resolve inquiries related to benefits, claims, eligibility, and other healthcare-related topics.

    + Accurately document call details and outcomes in the system.

    + Maintain compliance with HIPAA and internal data privacy standards.

    + Meet or exceed established quality assurance and productivity metrics.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Strong customer service and communication skills.

    + Proficient in data entry and navigating multiple systems simultaneously.

    + Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare industry practices.

    + Experience in a call center or help desk environment is preferred.

    + Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

    Additional Skills:

    + Experience with medical office support tasks such as scanning, filing, and faxing.

    + Basic project coordination or support experience is a plus.

    Experience Level:

    Entry Level – Ideal for candidates with foundational experience in customer support or healthcare administration.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
