Assistant Manager, Paid Search

The Assistant Manager, Paid Search will support the business in North America region and play an important role in accelerating our online business. This individual will join a team of growth marketers that are transforming our brand.com business and aiding in developing critical marketing capabilities for ELC.
This role will be focused on executing and reporting on paid search campaigns for a cluster of brands within the ELC portfolio. They will ensure efficient completion of campaign work, perform insightful data analysis, and communicate optimizations and recommendations internally. They are responsible for managing daily pacing and routine performance checks. A strong analytical mind is essential for this role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Campaign Management + Execution:
o Assist in the day-to-day management of search campaigns, including keyword optimizations, search term reporting analysis, bidding, budgeting, and performance analysis in partnership with the team’s Manager/Senior Manager
o Continuously monitor and optimize campaign performance to identify potential areas for improvement
o Assist in implementing suggested optimizations to ensure campaigns meet or exceed goals,
o Assist Manager/Senior Manager in managing the product feed to find any missing product groups, titles, descriptions, etc.
o Execute testing timelines set by Manager/Senior Manager and provide mid-flight testing updates
o Constantly track and analyze the relationship between paid and organic search to identify opportunities for synergies and optimization
o Lead the creation and implementation of ad copy for promos and evergreen moments
o Work cross functionally with marketing channel leads on real time optimizations and pivots across the marketing mix to achieve brand goals
• Account Management + Reporting:
o Derive actionable insights from paid search performance and connect to holistic business trends/activations. Assist Manager/Senior Manager in pulling weekly performance updates to stakeholders with an emphasis on how the channel supports macro business goals
o Assist Manager/Senior Manager in updating all internal financial documents regarding paid search spend. Assist in communication with Brand, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to understand any discrepancies, outstanding invoice payments, etc

Qualifications
+ 2-3 years+ of hands-to-keyboard experience in performance marketing, primarily in Paid Search
+ Experience with tools like Skai, SA360, Google Analytics, Looker, and Google Merchant Center is required
+ Experience with Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data visualization) is preferred
+ Agency experience highly preferred
+ Experience within the retail vertical is a plus, but not required
+ Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
+ Strong work ethic, consistently going above and beyond to meet deadlines and achieve goals
+ Clear and concise communicator, able to convey ideas effectively both in writing and verbally
+ Motivated to take ownership of tasks and projects, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving
+ Ability to stay organized, focused, and productive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
