    Position Description:

    Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

    Major/Essential Functions:

    + Coordinate services for events, such as facilities, catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing and event security.

    + Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolution of any problems that arise.

    + Liaison with Alumni Association and Hospitality with maintenance and scheduling.

    + Responsible for sales, collections, payroll, and operating costs.

    + Inspect event facilities to ensure that they conform to customer requirements.

    + Evaluate and select providers of services according to customer requirements.

    + Arrange the availability of audio-visual equipment, transportation, displays, and other event needs.

    + Work directly with clients to coordinate all details for their events.

    + Maintain sales growth for Merket, Frazier and Chapel facilities.

    + Communicate with kitchen/catering staff to ensure timely and proper event execution.
