• Landfill Laborer

    Waste Connections (Rockford, IL)


    We have an immediate position available for a** **Landfill General Laborer at Winnebago Landfill** **in Rockford, Illinois.

    In this position you will -

    + Assist in cleaning and pressure washing as needed.

    + Gathering litter around the property.

    + Assist customers by responding to inquiries.

    + Train to operate a tipper.

    + Occasionally assisting with scale.

    + Assist in other duties as needed.

     

    Must have the ability to work outside throughout an 8+ hour shift.

     

    The position is full time Monday-Friday day shift with some Saturdays.

    Requirements:

    + Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
