    Care Connections, a division of Molina Healthcare, seeks member representatives to join its growing team which will contribute to the company mission to bring quality health care to the underserved. The Care Connections Representative conduct outbound calls to Molina members, schedule appointments with our Nurse Practitioners, and assist with member needs. Representatives work with Molina members across 22 states. As part of Molina’s benefit package, the appointments are for healthcare services delivered in the home, community and nursing facility settings. This is a special opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable people.

     

    **JOB DUTIES** (Main duties & responsibilities of the role):

    • Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service

    • Show flexibility in meeting changing performance objectives consistent with Molina and department objectives

    • Attention to detail

    • Perform timely documentation in electronic medical record

    • Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

    • Empathy/passion for working with senior, disabled, low-income populations

    • Demonstrate positive working relationships with peers and effectively manage conflict

    • Demonstrates personal responsibility and accountability by meeting attendance and schedule adherence expectations

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • Excellent customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or other comparable software

    • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening

    • Problem solving skills

    • Ability to abide by Molina's policies and procedures

    • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively **JOB PROFILE**

    REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, ASSOCIATION:

    PREFERRED EDUCATION:

    • Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Healthcare experience

    • Experience doing outbound appointment setting or similar services

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Working environment is generally favorable and lighting and temperature are adequate. Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Must have the ability to sit for long periods.
