    Salary: $3210 / Week

     

    Amergis Staffing iscurrently working with a much-respected facility in Newton, MA and is hiring experienced Mammography Technologists on a contractual basis!

    Position Details:

    Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ ability toextend)

     

    Start Date: 9/1

     

    Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (mixed 8's + 12's) / Days / Mon/Wed-Sat or Mon/Thurs-Sat

    Setting:

    + Community teaching hospital

    Position Requirements:

    + Minimum 1 year of Mammography Tech experience

    + MA radiology license

    + ARRT (M), RTRM, BLS

    TheMammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associatedwith the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images ofthe breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve thechances of successful treatment and survival.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current State License or Certificate in state where they will be working

    + One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
