• CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech)

    Salary: $1596 / Week

     

    The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerizedtomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by aphysician. These cross-sectional imagesprovide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones,which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standardprocedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist alsoperforms a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CTscans

    Experience:

    3 – 5 years of X-Ray/CT experience

    + Position Details:

    + Covers CT, X-Ray, and OR

    + It’s a solo position that utilizes our ER Techs for support/transport

    + Heavier CT, emergency surgery

    + Significantly lower patient volumes, 5 – 15

    + 25 bed/Inpatient Portable X-Ray – have chest x-ray

    + No providers, ER Provider is closest provider support

    + Education:

    + Certificate of completion from college or vocational school

    + Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program (College or Institutional Program) approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The college program will grant a minimum of an Associate’s Degree (A.S.) or Radiologic Technology program or equivalent

    + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

    + California Certified Radiologic Technologist (RHT)

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

    + No NV License needed as will not be supporting Nevada/IVCH

    Work Hours:

    40hrs a week.
