**Job Title:** Environmental Chemist

**Location:** Richmond, CA (Onsite)

**Type:** Contract (through March 2026)

**Pay:** $38–$45/hr

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Overview:

Seeking an Environmental Chemist to support increased sample testing demands. This role involves conducting lab-based analyses related to air quality and environmental health using advanced instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform testing on environmental samples using ICP-MS, GC-MS, and SEM.

+ Assist in air quality monitoring and sample collection.

+ Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment.

+ Support mobile lab setup and field instrumentation as needed.

+ Document results and maintain sample records using Excel and internal systems.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.

+ 1+ year experience in an environmental testing laboratory.

+ Hands-on experience with ICP-MS, GC-MS, or SEM required.

+ Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-throughput lab setting.

+ Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Hands-on training and SOP-based onboarding led by experienced lab personnel.
