    This position is responsible for reconciliation of custodian reports in Excel to create and code task level exceptions for both assignment related exceptions as well as non-assignment to include endorsements and all collateral related exceptions present on the custodian inventory and exception report. This role requires attention to details, strong analytical skills in performing data analysis, research, and reconciliation of the data discrepancies in a fast-pace deadline driven environment. The position also involves special issue research, escalated items review, and assistance in training.

    Essential Job Functions:

    + Manipulate data using intermediate excel skills such as using VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot tables, concatenations, comparisons, and additional functions as needed

    + Analyze, research, and identify discrepancies in the data files used for reconciliation

    + Demonstrate knowledge of the post-close documents and their status of completeness, able to review and verify chain of assignments/endorsements.

    + Complete reconciliation analysis to generate collateral related tasks

    + Apply client specific instructions to collateral task coding

    + Compare and reconcile CAM tasks to custodial exceptions

    + Complete ad hoc reconciliations upon request

    + Ensure proper modifications of procedures on file are up to date and maintained

    + Assist with performing QC checks on input data to ensure accuracy

    + Maintain a good understanding of CAM functionality and its workflow tools to ensure proper use

    + Participate in special projects as assigned

    + Promote and support positive team dynamics and professionalism among all staffing levels and throughout the company

    + Must read, be familiar, and be compliant with the company’s information security manual, as well as additional e-mails, policies, procedures, and directives that comprise the overall Information Security policies as they are distributed

    + Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager

    Qualifications/ Requirements:

    + Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience

    + Intermediate-level support staff with 2-4 years of relevant experience

    + In some cases, substantial, relevant experience may be substituted for this qualification

    + Some mortgage related document knowledge preferred

    + Responsible for researching and solving loan or task level escalated issues and problems

    + Strong analytical ability, good judgment, strategic and multidimensional thinking.

    + Attention to details and demonstrating use of critical thinking when identifying and solving problems, well organized, effectively coordinating multiple projects, while working in a fast moving, deadline driven environment.

    + Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook; intermediate to advanced Excel`s skills including the use of lookups, pivot tables and basic formulas in manipulating large amounts of data

    + Exercises good judgment with access to confidential borrower data (SSN)

    + Attention to detail resulting in accurate, clear, and professionally formatted reports and/or correspondence for both internal and external clients

    + Ability to compose professional correspondence independently for internal or external clients

    + Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills required for internal clients

    + Fast and accurate data entry

    + Makes some independent task level or loan level decisions after research and within delegated authority levels

    + Self-motivated with the initiative to research, question, and apply information

    + Performs QC and review of others work

    + Provides guidance in routine tasks

    + Assists in training other team members informally by answering questions, providing QC or job shadowing

    + Maintains a positive attitude.

    + Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team

    The annual full time base salary range for this role is

     

    $25.00 - $26.00

     

    Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
