    Join us as a Regional Market Development Manager, where you'll drive local demand for our innovative services and support the GSS business strategy. You will collaborate on marketing and sales campaigns, localize service offerings, and optimize portfolio management to ensure success. Your regional insights will enhance global strategies and adapt campaigns for local deployment. You'll manage regional pricing, analyze market performance, and execute exciting NPI launches.

     

    This role will be Office based at one of the North America ThermoFisher sites.

     

    What will you do?

     

    + Lead regional commercial engagement, training, and meetings to support overall GSS business strategy and priorities, driving local demand for service & support offerings.

    + Collaborate with GSS Sales, LSG Product Sales, and Global Market Development on region-level marketing & sales campaign progress for digital and indirect sales.

    + Work closely with global product managers to localize service offerings and optimize portfolio management.

    + Provide regional customers and market insights to improve global strategies.

    + Leverage local marketing capabilities to adapt global campaigns and related materials for in-region deployment.

    + Optimize regional pricing, including list price and discount maintenance on country and distributor price books, and NPIs.

    + Manage regional market performance by analyzing gaps and implementing corrective actions with sales and service leaders.

    + Localize service & support NPI execution, including go-to-market plans, pricing, sales training, and local activities to support launches in partnership with BU/Platform Regional Market Development.

    + Act as a brand ambassador, understanding, upholding, and communicating our multi-brand strategy in all aspects of our marketing program.

     

    Keys to Success

    Education

    + Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration; or equivalent work experience and skills.

    Experience

    + Experience in building and deploying multi-channel marketing campaigns, or a commercially minded colleague looking to transition into a marketing role.

    + Experience with life sciences or clinical research products and services is a plus, but not essential.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Strong creative intuition on design and messaging that resonates with customers, and an ability to learn from previous campaigns to improve performance.

    + Skilled at establishing and nurturing connections with customers, key opinion leaders, and internal collaborators.

    + Ability to manage project scope, budget, and schedule to achieve timely results.

    + Proficient in understanding, analyzing, and summarizing comprehensive and sophisticated technical, market, and research information/data.

    + Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    + Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and AI tools.

    + Willing and able to travel internationally up to 10% per annum, including overnight stays.

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.

     

    This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
