Job Summary
The Process Manager is responsible for developing the process support plan and providing oversight to the process team to timely and accurately document, map, execute, and support Operations and Maintenance Service Agreements for all of Transmission System Operations. This role makes decisions to ensure delivery of short, medium, and long-term assignments of moderate and advanced complexity, prioritizing tasks and making project assignments for the process team.
The Process Manager directly manages Process supervisors to oversee the development of all Process team members, while working to build and sustain collaborative relationships across the entirety of the Transmission System Operations organization, individual Business Units, internal partners (including Legal, FERC/RTO policy, and Interconnection Services), and external partners (including regulators, RTOs, and other utilities).
Job Description
What you’ll do:
+ Works directly with business unit leadership to determine strategy and tactics for implementation of a comprehensive Transmission System Operations (TSO) Business Process Support plan.
+ Leads process support supervisors to execute the planning, building, delivery, and support of the Business Process Support program for the entirety of the TSO organization.
+ Provides direction and guidance for the development, specifications, and communications of the Process team, and provides high-quality customer support and expertise to each of the TSO business units.
+ Works with legal and TSO business units to ensure templates, directions, and storage of operations maintenance agreements meet TSO needs.
+ Oversees and directs all organizational changes related to the process team, providing day-to-day oversight of supervisors to monitor, control, and ensure effective implementation of all TSO process documentation and business support initiatives.
+ Oversees the business support program, monitors key metrics, and provides periodic status reports to leadership and TSO internal customers on milestones, performance, and other key aspects of the program.
+ Enforces and helps create a clear definition for program goals, objectives, and business needs.
+ Identifies team member roles and responsibilities while driving culture and development of the team.
+ Works with Business Process team and TSO organization to define policies, processes, guidelines, and standards in alignment with industry regulations and standards, and oversees distribution and publication of policies and standards across the business units.
+ Ensures all documentation is maintained and stored in accordance with established standards in an easily accessible, user-friendly location with appropriate security access.
+ Uses communication and conflict resolution skills to build consensus and obtaining buy-in.
+ Leads the team to complete projects/tasks/initiatives and perform all work activities via efficient processes, risk reduction, and effective use of resources.
+ Establishes and maintains an open and collaborative environment that promotes safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement within and throughout TSO.
What we’re looking for:

_Education:_
+ Bachelor’s degree in relevant field from an accredited college/university and six years of progressive experience in documentation, business process support, or technical process support required.
+ Degree in Law/Legal Studies, English, or Communications is preferred.
_Experience:_
+ Two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
_In addition:_
+ Must be able to clearly and concisely express technical and non-technical ideas to all levels from executive leadership to individual contributors. Must be able to convey complex information in simple terms, utilizing meaning and relevant language.
+ Must be able to proactively collect, learn, and demonstrate new information about industry and profession from sources within and outside the organization. Must be able to stay abreast of professional and industry trends.
+ Must possess strong skills in written and verbal communication including public speaking and conflict resolution.
+ Must be able to promote diversity in the workplace and recognize difference in people as opportunities.
+ Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Vizio, and Access.
+ Demonstrated past success leading documentation and process programs and solutions is highly preferred.
+ Occasional travel may be required.
+ Physical demand level is Sedentary

Compensation Range:
$132,562.00-172,331.00 USD
