Your Opportunity
As a Software Engineer II, you will be building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. Your core responsibility will be backend development, including crafting APIs, implementing business logic, and integrating complex databases and external services, with contributions to front-end architecture as needed. You will lead by example, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and leverage generative AI tools to enhance coding productivity and application performance.
This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories)
What You'll Do
+ Contribute to system architecture, design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operation of components
+ Work directly with product management and your team while analyzing and decomposing complex software requirements into simple user stories for planning and execution
+ Own system and feature quality throughout the development, testing and deployment phases to ensure quality delivery expectations are met
+ Conduct new technology research, proof of concept, and design work that will assist in determining direction for the enhancement of the overall system and products
+ Provide operational support to components that your team owns, including 24/7 availability as needed
+ Work alongside other software engineers to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices for design, coding standards, performance, security, delivery, and maintainability
Your Team
You will be welcomed as a member of the Operations & Finance Engineering Team building, testing and deploying products and services that support Sales teams and Order Management teams. About You
+ 2+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong backend focus in modern API design and distributed systems (Java, .NET)
+ Proficiency in Microservice Architecture, SOA, REST/SOAP API, messaging queues, SQL, and AWS services
+ Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Next.js)
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
What sets you apart
+ Experience with AI tools like GitHub Co-Pilot
+ Develop automated integration, acceptance, and/or contract driven tests
+ Familiarity and experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
+ Strong debugging and performance profiling skills
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail
Pay Range
USD $95,295.00 - USD $136,135.00 /Yr.
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
