    Full-Time | Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm but may vary due to business needs.

     

    Pay Rate: $19.30 Hourly

     

    Weekly Earned Wage Access is available for this position.

     

    **Job Purpose or Objective(s):** Works to improve Tribal agricultural lands by implementing conservation practices, including but not limited to fence building, erosion control, and weed and brush management.

    Primary Tasks:

    1. Implement soil and water conservation projects to enhance the value and sustainable production of Tribal agricultural lands, following conservation plans.

    2. Operate, repair, and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, brush hogs, skid steers, and related equipment.

    3. Provide and maintain GIS mapping systems to measure production and support reporting requirements.

    4. Maintain accurate records and files necessary for program operations and reporting.

    5. Build, repair, and maintain fencing for pasture management, and conservation areas.

    6. Collect soil samples as needed.

    7. Collaborate with Tribal departments and agencies to implement conservation goals and coordinate project implementation.

    8. Implement weed and brush control, including mechanical removal, prescribed burns, or chemical applications, while adhering to environmental guidelines.

    9. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    + Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience utilizing farm equipment.

    + Knowledge of Herbicides and proper use.

    + Capable of reading legal descriptions for Land research.

    + Medium physical work: capable to exert 75 lbs. of force.

    + Basic knowledge of acetylene cutting torch and welder.

    + Basic knowledge of ranch and pasture maintenance

    + Must possess a valid Oklahoma Drivers Licenses.
