    The Senior Director, Patient Services Transformation Enablement will serve as a strategic advisor and operational leader to identify and unlock opportunities, driving alignment, execution, and continuous improvement across the Patient Services organization. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of strategic initiatives, optimize operational infrastructure, and enhance the overall impact of Patient Services on patient access, experience, and outcomes.

     

    This leader will oversee enterprise-wide initiatives, manage key performance indicators, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation. Responsibilities include orchestrating strategic planning, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring that Patient Services is equipped with the tools, processes, and insights needed to deliver on its mission.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Leadership and Strategic Partnerships

    + Partner with Patient Services leadership, including the VP and senior cross-functional leaders (e.g., Access & Reimbursement, Medical, Legal, Compliance, Commercial) to identify strategic priorities and lead initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and patient impact (i.e., implement structured processes/governance to optimally allocate resources based on growth and analytics to deliver on the transformation agenda).

    + Serve as a central point of coordination for internal and external partnerships, including third-party vendors, alliance partners, and service line agreements (SLAs), ensuring alignment with compliance and procurement standard

    Continuous Improvement (including Capabilities Development) and Project Execution

    + Drive continuous improvement by identifying and executing high-impact projects that streamline operations, improve service delivery, and support the execution of annual operating plans.

    + Lead the intake, prioritization, and execution of advanced projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and timely delivery of results.

    + Lead the development and evolution of core operational capabilities, including project management frameworks, training programs, analytics platforms, SOPs, and technology solutions.

    S** **trategic Planning and Resource Management

    + Oversee strategic planning processes, including territory and account alignments, resource deployment, and organizational design to support evolving business needs.

    + Identify ways to transform the operating model to better address needs of patients, customers, deliver optimization, and support the growth agenda in partnership with the cross-functional stakeholders.

    + Regularly assess progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions or adjust resource allocation strategies as needed.

    Research and Insights

    + Support the development and dissemination of insights from patient and customer research to inform strategy and measure impact.

    + Work with Advanced Analytics Leaders to leverage data and facts to understand opportunities for optimizing resourcing to drive growth or optimization, as dictated by the priority for that portfolio-product for in-line and launches.

    Communication and Coordination

    + Facilitate leadership communications, meeting planning (national and regional), and budget oversight to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

     

    + Bachelor's degree required.

    + 12+ years of experience required in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of patient services, access and reimbursement, and health system dynamics.

    + Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional leadership within a matrixed organization.

    + Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams.

    + Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs and deliver measurable outcomes.

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Prior leadership experience in Patient Services or related functions.

    + Experience working across headquarters functions and field-based teams.

    + Familiarity with compliance, procurement, and alliance management processes.

    + Track record of building and scaling operational infrastructure to support growth and transformation.

    + Background in management consulting, with experience advising or leading large-scale transformation or enablement initiatives.

    The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204,700.00 to $341,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
