    We’re currently hiring for an **Accounting Clerk** at our corporate offices in Salt Lake City, UT. In this position, your responsibilities will include providing various levels of basic accounting support within the Property Accounting area in a high-volume, high-energy office environment.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Process general ledger postings for all bank transactions

    + Research and process bank deposits for corporate accounts

    + Access and create files for bank statements online

    + Format financial reports for all corporate departments each month

    + Process returned items and maintain banking relationships

    + Prepare and maintain monthly reports and financial back-up

    + Assists Property Accountants in monthly bank reconciliation by providing detailed transaction and bank information, such as check images and monthly bank statements

    + Maintain changes to credit card and bank statements

    + Create quarterly property detail files

    + Maintain accounting lists, including: tax ids, merchant ids, bank accts, property assignments

    Job Specifications

    + Administer Purchasing Card program

    + Reverse NSF checks in STORE

    + Arrange storage for accounting reports such as detail files

    + Create and maintain vendors in accounting software (Great Plains)

    + Filing, copying, and other administrative duties

    + Create and maintain vendors in accounting software (Great Plains)

    Education and Experience

    + Two years of higher education, and/or three years of specific work experience. Accounting experience with a real estate or related company is helpful
