    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ASIC Development Manager to lead and grow a multidisciplinary team across ASIC CAD Engineering, Hardware Verification, and ASIC Packaging. This role goes beyond team management—you’ll play a key role in **defining products** , **shaping technology roadmaps** , and **collaborating with customers and architects** to drive innovation in advanced semiconductor technologies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Define and evolve component and technology roadmaps in collaboration with customers, architects, and industry leaders.

    + Identify and introduce new technology needs into the organization, spanning CMOS, BiCMOS, and III-V semiconductor processes.

    + Partner with product teams to optimize system architecture and component partitioning.

    + Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of analog ASIC designers, CAD engineers, verification specialists, and packaging experts.

    + Work with program management to define project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates.

    + Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    + Oversee the development and maintenance of ASIC design flows to improve productivity and reduce risk.

    + Collaborate with EDA vendors and foundries to ensure toolchain compatibility and performance.

    + Ensure lab readiness for silicon bring-up and characterization.

    + Guide the development of test infrastructure and automation for post-silicon validation.

    + Manage the design of custom ASIC packages and multi-chip modules (MCMs).

    Hands-On Technical Contribution

    + Lead and contribute to ASIC design efforts.

    + Drive improvements in design methodologies, tools, and best practices.

    A Typical Day Might Include:

    + Working with the program manager on trying to better track and report progress on projects.

    + Meeting with customers and industry thought leaders to define product requirements.

    + Collaborating with architects to refine system-level design and partitioning.

    + Reviewing simulation results or lab data from silicon characterization.

    + Leading a design review or mentoring a junior engineer.

    + Evaluating new EDA tools or semiconductor technologies for adoption.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

    + 5+ years of experience in ASIC development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

    + Familiarity with CMOS, BiCMOS, and III-V semiconductor technologies.

    + Strong understanding of packaging technologies and MCM design.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

    Bonus or Equity

     

    This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

    Pay Range

    The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 120,500.00 - 223,900.00

     

    Is this role subject to ITAR?

     

    The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations. Accordingly, candidates must either be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) or be prepared to collaborate with the company in securing the necessary U.S. government export authorizations.
